April 29 (UPI) — Netflix prepares the release of Money Heist: Korea – Common Economic Space.
The streaming service has shared a teaser and a June premiere date for the new Money theft Thursday series.
The promo features the voice of the teacher (Yoo Ji-tae) and previews the full cast.
“A thief who steals petty cash is killed after being chased or ends up in jail. But a thief who steals on a large scale can change the world and even become a hero,” says Professor (Yoo).
“Of all the money thefts, we’re going to pull off the biggest one yet,” the character adds. “Audiences will watch this greatest show on earth live. And they will support us.”
Also starring are Jeon Jong-seo, Park Hae-soo, Lee Won-jong, Kim Ji-hoon, Jang Yoon-ju, Lee Hyun-woo, Kim Ji-hun, and Lee Kyu-ho.
Money Heist: Korea is based on the Spanish series Money thefta.k.a Money Heist. The original show is created by Álex Pina and had a three-season run that ended in December on Netflix.
The Korean series is set in a world where North Korea and South Korea are on the verge of peaceful reunification. The professor assembles a team of thieves to steal the new unified currency.
Money Heist: Korea premieres June 24 on Netflix.
