Opening of the Mercy emergency care center in a new shopping center

The fourth Mercy-GoHealth emergency care center in Springfield is operational.

The clinic opened this morning in a new multi-tenant retail center at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Sunshine Street, on the corner of the Bass Pro Shops kittens and the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, according to A press release.

At 303 W. Sunshine St., the emergency care center treats adults and children with illnesses and injuries such as the flu, fever, allergies, cuts, burns, sprains and strains. It also has radiology and laboratory services on site.

Mercy partners with the clinics with GoHealth Urgent Care, a subsidiary of Access Clinical Partners LLC, based in Atlanta.

Mercy’s third co-branded emergency care center opened in February 2019 at 3233 E. Sunshine St., Ste. 100, in Sidewalk Plaza, following the launch of clinics at 900 E. Battlefield Road in Battlefield Market Place and 2150 W. Republic Road in Magers Crossing, according to past Springfield Business Journal reports.

The last clinic is located in a 7,500 square foot shopping center developed by East Sunshine Property Group LLC. Other tenants aboard the center include AT&T and Missouri Title Loans Inc. previous reports.
