On October 21, 2021, at approximately 12:25 p.m., officers responded to block 200 of Continental Drive in Glen Burnie with a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers encountered witnesses who said several suspects exited a golden vehicle and began shooting between the houses in Continental and Candlelight Lane. Other suspects involved entered a residence in the 200 block of Candlelight Lane. Two young men were kicked out of the house and taken into custody. A search warrant was executed at the residence resulting in the seizure of a loaded Glock 9mm handgun. One of the minors, a 17-year-old from Glen Burnie, has been charged with weapons-related offenses. Other suspects involved in this incident are still at large. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Northern District detectives are investigating and asking anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.

On October 21, 2021, at approximately 7:50 p.m., officers were checking out a business in Block 600 of the Crain Freeway in Glen Burnie when they spotted a subject who was known to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The subject was taken into custody and found in possession of 31.03 grams of suspected cocaine crack, as well as $ 1,163.00 in US dollars.

On October 22, 2021, at approximately 4:50 a.m., officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the Nantucket Drive and Riedel Road area of ​​Crofton. Appellants reported seeing two people on the street pulling on the door handles of parked vehicles. Upon arrival, officers located the suspects. One of the suspects fled but was soon found hidden under a vehicle. The suspects were in possession of items taken from the vehicles. The two suspects were arrested and charged.
