Basket Happening 2008 will be held March 15, 2008 at the Tri Valley High School in Dresden. This popular "basket lover's extravaganza" expects to see over 500 collectors of Longaberger Baskets, Pottery and Accessories.
Over 60 vendors will be present selling not only retired Longaberger(R) products, but also handmade crafts, home decor and other unique products. Vendor space is now available by calling 800-315-1809 or email dva@rrohio.com.
Cost to attend Basket Happening 2008 is $2 for adults, children 8 and under are free. Aside from the many wonderful items at the vendor tables, there will also be a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, and much more! Food will be available and parking is free.

Ladies shop in PJ's to save money
Shopping in your pajamas can actually save you money during the 5th annual DRESDEN PAJAMA PARTY. This wacky, fun event will be held on Saturday,March 29, 2008. Shops 
will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. offering DEEP discounts to those wearing pajamas and/or robe and slippers. You must be dressed accordingly to receive the discount. The "buzz" around Dresden is who will be the "best dressed" pajama person!
In addition to extraordinary discounts offered, alarm clocks will be hidden in participating stores. When the alarm clock rings, the first one to find it will win a door prize - over 20 prizes will be given. Popeye's Soda Shop will open at 7:30 a.m. offering a breakfast buffet for $5.95. The Dresden Village Association will host a "Best Dressed" contest at 8:30 a.m. with prizes awarded to the Most Creative and Most Traditional. Stores will then open their doors for 3 hours of fabulous discounts - up to 40% off in some of the stores! So come out in high style with your friends on March 29th for the Dresden Pajama Party.
